Solo due righe per parlare di un ottimo tool di confronto e allineamento per database SQL: SQL Delta.
L’aveva scoperto Giuliano, l’abbiamo un po’ provato e alla fine l’abbiamo fatto acquistare in azienda. E’ veramente ottimo. Permette di confrontare e allineare database sql in pochi istanti. Interfaccia semplice ed intuitiva, con svariate opzioni, molto semplice da usare.
Ha semplificato notevolmente il lavoro.
Unica “pecca”: è limitato ai database SQL… ergo niente database Access ad esempio… Ma pazienza, lo consiglio ugualmente in maniera spassionata [e notare: non ci guadagno niente nel farlo ]

Volete che un certo tipo di file non venga bloccato da Outlook?
Allora leggetevi queste poche righe: Opening .exe Attachments with the Outlook E-mail Security Update.
Funziona con tutte le versioni di Outlook, compresa la 2007 beta 2.
In pratica nel registro di sistema si dice ad Outlook di “chiudere un occhio” per certe estensioni.

1. Run Regedit, and go to this key:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\10.0\Outlook\Security (change 10.0 to 9.0 for Outlook 2000 SP3 or to 11.0 for Outlook 2003)
2. Under that key, add a new string value named Level1Remove.
3. For the value for Level1Remove, enter a semicolon-delimited list of file extensions. For example, entering this:

.mdb;.url

would unblock Microsoft Access files and Internet shortcuts. Note that the use of a leading dot was not previously required, however, new security patches may require it. If you are using “mdb;url” format and extensions are blocked, add a dot to each extension. Note also that there is not a space between extensions.
